Beaujolais Nouveau Winemaker’s Dinner

The third Thursday of November is Beaujolais Nouveau Day in France. It falls on November 21st this year: thus, our next Grand Crew Wine Club date!

We couldn’t have planned it better if we tried. It’s a huge cause for celebration - an excuse to drink the vibrant, plush wines made from the gentile Gamay varietal, picked just a few weeks before bottling in the Beaujolais AOC.

Simultaneously, our dear friends at King + Victoria Winery happen to be releasing their very first vintage of Gamay, made in a Beaujolais Nouveau style. They’ve also got a brand new Riesling and Chardonnay to show off, plus that unmatched 2021 vintage of Pinot Noir (hence a Bourgogne theme has taken shape…)

So the obvious thing to do is throw a Wine Maker’s Dinner about it.

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet winemaker Rob Harold of King + Victoria. He will be bringing four King + Vic vintages to be paired with Chef Angie’s Burgundian themed 3-course dinner. Rob will tell you the story of each exquisite wine, while Kyle and Denice speak to the pairings. Please note there will be vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available for all courses.

The cost of this Beaujolais Nouveau edition of Grand Crew Wine Club is $125.00 per person, before tax and gratuity. You can RSVP with payment through OpenTable, a super user friendly reservation platform (reso form below for extra ease). Please note any dietary preferences or allergies upon reservation.

"Wine of this vintage, fresh as the memory of harvest and raw as the experience of the year, unpolished by time, a reflection of the emotion of the moment.”
